Customised wallpaper or regular rolls?

At Siddhi Decorators, we help you choose between wallpaper made for your wall and regular catalogue rolls. You can share your own measurements for an initial discussion or arrange measurement with the studio. For customised wallpaper, confirm the exact wall dimensions and approve the artwork before printing.

Customised options include non-woven, canvas, embossed and gold or silver foil finishes. Regular collections include non-woven, Korean wallpaper and PVC options. Ask to see the current samples: availability, texture, cleaning instructions and adhesive requirements vary by product.

How much wall does one roll cover?

For the regular rolls we commonly handle, a roll is approximately 56 sq ft before cutting, with around 50 sq ft of usable coverage as an initial planning estimate. This is not a standard for every roll: check the selected roll's dimensions and pattern repeat. Wall height, matching the pattern and trimming can reduce usable coverage, so the installer should confirm the quantity before you order.

A mural is a composition arranged for one wall; a patterned roll repeats its design across separate drops. Decide which look fits your room, then compare the actual material and installation method. A picture on a screen cannot show a wallpaper's texture or cleaning limits.

Wallpaper options to discuss with the studio
OptionConsider it forCheck before ordering
Custom muralA single feature wall with a planned focal point.Full-wall dimensions, crop, switches and the final print proof.
Patterned rollsA repeat design across one or more walls.Roll size, pattern repeat, batch matching and cutting allowance.
Textured finishA quieter wall where the surface matters as much as the pattern.A physical sample, surface preparation and the material's care label.
Washable finishRooms where occasional cleaning is important. The manufacturer's washability rating; washable does not mean waterproof.
Self-adhesiveProjects where a peel-and-stick method is being considered.Compatibility with your paint and wall surface, plus removal guidance.

For a living-room TV wall, include the screen and furniture in your photograph so a mural's subject is not hidden. For a bedroom, show the bedhead position. For a child's room, compare the product's cleaning and safety information instead of assuming every wallpaper is washable or non-toxic.

Measure your walls. Plan your enquiry.

Use this wall-area planner for a feature wall or several walls. Measure the full width and height of each wall separately and use the same unit throughout. Include a photograph showing doors, windows, switches and furniture when you contact the studio.

For example, a wall 10 ft wide and 9 ft high has a gross area of 90 sq ft (8.36 m²). This is wall area, not a roll count or fitted price. Pattern matching, trimming, openings and the chosen material affect the order quantity.

Ask the studio about measurements and fitting

What goes into a wallpaper quote?

There is no single fitted price that works for every wall. The material, print or roll quantity, condition of the surface and installation scope all affect the total. Ask for these items to be clear in your quote:

  1. Material and quantity. The design reference, base material, roll or mural dimensions, and any pattern-matching allowance.
  2. Wall preparation. Whether old wallpaper removal, filling, smoothing, priming or other repairs are included.
  3. Fitting. Labour, corners, openings, switches and any access arrangements that affect the work.
  4. Visit and travel. Confirm any charge for your locality before booking.
  5. Final terms. Taxes, payment stages, expected schedule and the material/workmanship warranty, if offered, in writing.

Width multiplied by height gives an initial wall-area estimate, but it is not a final roll order. Repeating patterns, trimming and openings can change the quantity. Share approximate measurements for the first discussion and confirm measurements before ordering.

Discuss your wall and budget

Check the wall first.

Wallpaper needs a sound, clean, dry and smooth surface. Tell the studio about peeling paint, cracks, existing wallcovering, fresh plaster or previous damp. Include close-up photographs alongside a full-wall view.

Active seepage or damp must be investigated and resolved before wallpaper is considered. Wallpaper is a finish, not a repair for a moisture problem. Fresh plaster or paint needs to be fully dry and prepared according to the wallpaper and adhesive instructions; there is no universal waiting period for every wall.

Our usual preparation advice is a smooth putty-finished surface with a suitable primer. The primer must suit the wall, wallpaper and adhesive; an oil-based primer is only appropriate where the chosen product instructions allow it. Let preparation coats dry as directed before fitting.

Follow the chosen product's adhesive and cleaning instructions. Ask for a sample and material details if the wall is near splashes, heat or heavy wear.

What happens on installation day?

Once the wall is ready and the wallpaper is available, our installer visits the site and fits it using the appropriate wallpaper adhesive. A straightforward installation typically takes around 2–3 hours in our experience. Larger areas, detailed pattern matching and preparation can take longer; custom printing and any drying time are separate.

Discuss furniture and floor protection, ventilation and cleanup before the visit. Odour depends on the adhesive and any preparation products used, so ask about the products for your room.

Wallpaper questions, answered.

Can I get customised wallpaper for a wall in Delhi NCR?

Contact Siddhi Decorators with the wall dimensions, a photograph, your locality and a design reference. Discuss the available material and approve the final composition and dimensions before the order is placed.

Can I see samples before choosing?

Contact the Pitampura studio to discuss the current catalogue and samples for your preferred finish. Check availability before travelling. The shop is open Tuesday–Sunday, 10 AM–8 PM, and closed Monday.

Do you install wallpaper as well as supply it?

Siddhi Decorators supplies and fits wallpaper. Ask the studio to confirm the measurement, preparation and fitting scope for your wall, and any visit or travel charge for your locality.

How much does wallpaper installation cost?

The fitted quote depends on the chosen material, wall dimensions, preparation, pattern matching and access. Ask which material, labour, removal, repairs, taxes and travel items are included. Share a wall photo and approximate measurements for an initial discussion.

Can wallpaper cover damp or peeling paint?

Do not use wallpaper to hide active damp, seepage or an unstable painted surface. Resolve the underlying issue and confirm that the wall is sound and dry before selecting a wallcovering.

How long will my order and installation take?

A straightforward installation typically takes around 2–3 hours once the wall is ready and the wallpaper is on site. Larger or more detailed work takes longer. Material availability, custom printing, repairs and drying add separate time; confirm your full schedule with the studio.

Plan your wallpaper wall.

Send your locality, a full-wall photograph and approximate width and height. Tell us the room and the look you have in mind so the studio can discuss suitable options and a quote.
